Mike and Beth wanted to celebrate their union with an Anglican rite, and what better church in Taormina than St. George‘s? It is a small church overlooking the Mediterranean Sea with a luxuriant English garden full of centuries-old plants.

Getting ready in an ancient noble villa in Taormina – Sicily

The bride and groom chose an ancient noble house overlooking the Gulf of Taormina as the venue for the preparation for their intimate wedding in Taormina – Sicily. It is an old tower built with white stone and magnificent halls with frescoes on the roofs and walls, making the atmosphere elegant and timeless.
It was a very intimate wedding in Taormina – Sicily, for Mike and Beth, who chose to celebrate it with close friends from Texas to celebrate all together.

The bride got ready in the mansion’s main room. It was very emotional the moment of the video call made with her mother and children who stayed in America but wanted to be a part of the bride’s happiness even if only by video call.

A romantic and intimate ceremony at the Anglican church in Taormina

The reverend greeted the bride upon her arrival at the church to take her inside, where there was already the groom who emotionally awaited her at the altar decorated with beautiful blue and orange flowers that made the atmosphere very welcoming and intimate.

The very intimate ceremony took place in a romantic and exciting atmosphere. The violin and cello music accompanied the ceremony with the bride and groom’s most moving songs.

An Intimate dinner by the Mediterranean Sea of Sicily

At the end of the ceremony and after the traditional photos in front of the church with close friends, the bride, and groom reached the restaurant they had chosen for their wedding reception. They took a walk on the beach in front of the venue to take photos with the backdrop of a truly unique landscape: the Isola Bella and its Nature Reserve. A strip of private beach that served as a backdrop for pictures of intimate and beautiful moments. It is the real essence of an intimate wedding in Taormina, Sicily.

A romantic and intimate dinner by the sea with close friends and enjoy the typical dishes of Sicilian cuisine.
The wedding reception ended with cutting the wedding cake, a wonderful wedding cake with the traditional colors of Sicily and some folkloristic details of this fantastic land.

I wrote the article above in a happy and cheerful moment to celebrate these two guys in love.
Unfortunately, our loving bride, Beth, passed away a few months after the wedding. I could have decided not to post this wedding on our blog, and I thought a lot about it. In the end, with my Team at Italian Wedding Company, we decided to post it and dedicate it to Beth’s beautiful smile and her moments of joy. So this post is in Beth’s loving memory to honor her life, Mike, her family, and her friends. I will not forget you.
